Accessibility Statement

This statement describes the Akeru website at getakeru.com. Akeru is operated by Din Tau. It does not describe the hotel product. That product is covered by a separate agreement when a hotel signs one. This website does not receive visitors in person.

The standard we aim for

We aim to follow Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA. We have not completed a formal conformance audit. This page describes what the website offers today. It is not a claim that every part of the site meets that standard.

What you can use now

  • An accessibility control on every page. It sets text to Normal, Large, or Extra Large, turns on high contrast, and can switch to a readable font. The choice is saved in this browser and is not sent to us.
  • High contrast uses a white background and black text for the page content. Some decorative shapes keep their color.
  • Links, buttons, and the demo form can be used with a keyboard. A visible outline shows which control has focus.
  • Pages use headings, named navigation, and a label on the email field.
  • Drawings that are only decoration are hidden from screen readers. The product illustration has a short text description.
  • A skip link at the start of each page moves keyboard focus to the main content.
  • This statement is linked from the footer of every page and from the accessibility control.
